I've always eaten this way, so I doubt it.
I had just the opposite happen to me this morning, and a big splat! of cream filling on my jacket to show for it (and it wasn't even a good donut). Sigh.
Lindsey, I completely agree with you. Donuts without filling are pointless.Megan
