Comfort Food

mom's cornbread

Made cheesy vegetable soup for dinner last night, letting it simmer just long enough to make it thick and creamy. I wish I'd had some of mom's cornbread to go with it.

One of the best things about fall and winter in Michigan is that it is "soup weather". Nothing is better than good soup and good bread together!
